Kaiser Gallery is a contemporary gallery and cocktail lounge located in the heart of Tremont. In this format, we combine our dedication to the visual arts with libations to create a unique atmosphere that can readily bring art to new audiences while still serving our artists in their artistic endeavors. As an artist-run space, we strive to be a venue for innovative and creative thought by working with contemporary artists to exhibit challenging and pertinent projects that support their professional growth. Public programming is planned around exhibitions and provides artists opportunities for thoughtful community engagement in the form of lectures, performances, or demonstrations. Through this inclusive programming, we support, promote, and encourage artists of all mediums and in all stages of their careers.
Statement of Accountability and Transparency
At Kaiser Gallery, we believe in creating accountability and transparency within the art world. We hope that our collected data will provide us agency to act on the issues of inequality within and around us while keeping our community and our staff aware of disparities. We collect general data about our exhibiting artists and post them at the end of each season. After each show, we ask each artist to volunteer information about their gender identity and ethnicity. These records will provide an honest account of our gallery's history starting at our opening in December 2020. We strongly believe and encourage all galleries to maintain public statistics regarding exhibiting artists. These records and statistics also motivate us to continually strive for inclusion and diversity while representing a wide variety of voices.
Art and Community
We pride ourselves on being your community gallery, and through Kaiser Studios Inc. 501(c)(3), we are able to offer inclusive art programming that provides artists with opportunities for meaningful community engagement. We strive to make a positive community impact by working with exhibiting artists to develop quality and accessible art-based experiences for the public. Through our public programming, new opportunities for community members present themselves in a variety of forms, including opportunities for collaborations.
