Kaiser Gallery is accepting submissions for our annual Solo Show Selection. Solo exhibitors are open to local, regional, and national artists. This exhibit is open to all mediums, including but not limited to painting, sculptural works, photography, projection art, new media, and performances. Please refer to our gallery floor plan to assist with your proposal. Notifications are released by April 10th. Submission fees go towards the support of the exhibition in the form of exhibition supplies, marketing and a stipend for the selected artist.

The curatorial staff decides solo exhibitions, and proposals may suggest or indicate the need for a specific type of space, such as a need for an HD video projection, wall colors, and sound capabilities. However, exhibit size and the final placement is also determined by the curatorial staff. ​

Submission Fee - $20
    For those submitting a solo or group exhibition proposal, you must include a typed exhibition statement. ​The exhibition statement should explain what the exhibition is about and why the exhibition would be a good fit for Kaiser Gallery (approximately 500 words).
    ​Submissions are open to all visual artists, including traditional and non-traditional mediums. Kaiser Gallery has no size restrictions on submissions, other than what can physically fit in our gallery and through our doors. Artists who have work that may exceed these limits are welcome to email us to inquire about specific dimensions ([email protected]). Submissions average 3 images per submission and should be at least 72 dpi. Submissions for digital art, such as video, interactive, or other new media should be submitted in the form of a link to the complete viewable online copy of the artwork, along with a still jpeg image that represents the work. 

    All files should be labeled with the artist’s name and title of work; Ex: Yourfullname_titleofwork.jpg. Please only submit completed work. We cannot accept works-in-progress at this time. All work also must be ready to install. Submissions must also include a CV & artist statement. All interested parties that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered.​

    Submitting an entry indicates that you agree with the conditions of the exhibition, as outlined in this prospectus and the artist agreement form. When applying for a specific exhibition,  you agree to make your work available and will ensure there are no conflicting obligations for specific works until after notification of our selection results are released. You agree to ship/deliver artwork to the gallery by the date specified should it be selected for the exhibit. ​You also agree that the information you have provided is accurate and complete. By submitting this form, you also indicate that you are own the sole owner to the rights of the images/artwork/text submitted under your name.
